Our new subscription, A Year of New Shirts, is now available. We've asked six artists to each come up with a t-shirt idea, which we then printed and are now selling as both a subscription and as individual shirts. Currently, you'll start with Tucker Nichols's "Hetch Hetchy". Upcoming artists include Amy Jean Porter and one more TBA. Artists shirts that will get sent with your initial purchase are Rachell Sumpter's "Ship" shirt, Ron Rege's "Everyday Life" shirt, Keith Shore's "Pyramid" shirt, and Tucker Nichols's "Hetch Hetchy". After that you will get two more shirts, over the next four months (one shirt every other month). The cost is just $99 (that's a $32 savings when you subscribe). If you choose buy as they come out, each shirt is $22.
HETCH HETCHY:
The Hetch Hetchy Reservoir means many different things. For a bird, it means a place to land and relax. For the Tuolumne River it means the end of the line. For San Franciscans it means water. For McSweeney's it means this new shirt from Tucker Nichols. It's bright, eye-catching, and completely refreshing.
These shirts are unique and only available here at our online store.
Please note that when you subscribe to A Year of New Shirts we ask that you put in whatever size you prefer. All shirts are American Apparel. Click here for men's sizes. Click here for women's sizes.
