JAMES HANNAHAM

James Hannaham was born in the Bronx and grew up in Yonkers, New York. He has written for The Village Voice, as well as Spin, Us, Out, Interview, and Vibe. His fiction has appeared in The Literary Review, Nerve.com, Open City, and several anthologies. He has been awarded residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell, and Fundación Valparaíso, and a NYFFA Fellowship. He teaches creative writing at the Pratt Institute and is a staff writer in the culture department at Salon.
